SCC Girls Seek Donations for Indiana Tourney

pic8-250St Clair County wants to compete in a qualifier!

There are a few things you can do to help us get there. 1. Donate, 2. Tell a friend, 3. Sponsor a child, and 4. Come to a game and support them!

Qualifiers are enormous for the volleyball industry! Qualifiers are where the majority of college coaches attend! Collegiate visibility is paramount for our girls to get the full experience! It’s not enough for them to train hard, and play harder! Someone has to see them as well! That someone is representing a college or university, and we need their attention! College costs big bucks, and our girls are working hard to alleviate some if not all of those costs. The more coaches we exposed the girls to, the more chances they’ll have to be recruited. We are asking the community to help us by helping them. We thank you for what you’ve already done, and what you’re going to do! SCC VBC!

St. Clair County Volleyball Club, in conjunction with Camp Crogier, are owned by Derrick and MyKeia Crogier. We are in the business of sports and fitness. We provide a service that not only gets athletes in shape, but ready to compete at the next level for their as well. We offer an opportunity for collegiate visibility and want each athlete that we encounter to have a chance to be seen by a college coach for recruiting opportunities.

Our Mission:

SCCVBC and Camp Crogier have set a goal to be the voice of the unseen, forgotten, and left behind. “There are talented kids everywhere— we just haven’t found them yet.” We must go into the dimly lit gyms, for there we find the hidden talent. We must go to the gym with no air, for there we find a kid who isn’t afraid to sweat and work hard. We must go to the gym with limited equipment, for there we find creativity.

Our vision is to find those kids in those particular places, and give them the same opportunities that are available in well lit, air conditioned, and better-equipped gyms.

“We partner hard work with opportunity and give athletes a chance at success.”

The goals for SCCVBC/Camp Crogier are to be the go-to program for training, and development in St. Clair County.  We have set out to attain the first-year goal of 85% our athletes getting recruited to a college or university with an athletic scholarship. Those particular schools include NCAA Division I/II/III, NAIA, and NJCAA. That’s over 1600 possible schools for scholarship opportunities. We want to be the leaders in skill development, and collegiate success.

We understand by addressing the athletic needs of the community; we also engage in the economic ones as well. More kids in school, doing what they love helps with the retention of that student. Most students, who are athletes, attend school to perform in their sport. By giving them an opportunity to play at a collegiate level, we also offer them the chance to earn a college degree debt, and succeed economically.
